Our diverse demographics have created opportunity and challenge. This school year brought specific impacting challenges surrounding a substantial enrollment increase (from an anticipated enrollment of 156 to 234), significantly higher class sizes and complex needs and new teacher hires. Fairview continues to provide high quality learning opportunities for our students. While well supported by our District with staffing, the funds to secure resources, classroom materials, field experiences, etc are challenging to say the least. At our school, basic human needs continued to be a concern. Food, shelter, mental health services, job loss, language acquisition and Newcomer transitions are often barriers to success.

March 2024 - Donated 75.00
